A cultural experience with meaning

The oldest ethnic group of the Philippines are very nature-loving and environment-conscious people, which is an approach you will find in different aspects on the private island, such as food.
With respect to the ethos of healthy eating, Banwa mainly works with products grown on a local organic farm, which does not only provide ethically cultivated produce for the guests and staff but also education for the Banwa team and the surrounding villages. In fact, sustainable agricultural practices such as vermiculture and apiculture are being taught to the local communities by Banwas team, the ultimate goal for this off-island staff village and farm is to be totally self-sufficient both in terms of power and food production.
