Automobili Pininfarina recently unveiled the Battista Reversario, a one-of-a-kind hyper GT commissioned by a client who already owns the fifth and final unit of the exclusive Battista Anniversario series. This model owns the company’s philosophy, “Dream Cars. Made Real,” highlighting the craft of co-creating bespoke vehicles that uniquely reflect each client’s personality. The Battista Reversario was crafted in Pininfarina’s Cambiano atelier, where every vehicle is a distinct expression of its owner’s preferences and style.
The Reversario model is inspired by and directly references the Battista Anniversario, embodying the concept of balance with a design that serves as the inverse of the Anniversario’s colour scheme. The vehicle’s lower body sports a Bianco Sestriere gloss finish, while the upper body is painted in Grigio Antonelliano gloss, complemented by pinstripes in Iconica Blu. This colour palette mirrors the heritage-inspired theme of the Anniversario, paying homage to Pininfarina’s long-standing design legacy.
Unique to the Reversario are bespoke ‘Reversario’ inscriptions positioned forward and in reflection on the carbon side wings and under the active rear wing, highlighting its exclusive nature. The interior features Pilota seats upholstered in white-on-white Alcantara with perforations in Iconica Blu, set against a primarily black cabin. This includes a bespoke chassis plate anodized in black, with additional cabin accents such as the cupholder retainer, headliner centre bezel, and seatbelts, all finished in Iconica Blu.
Accompanying the Reversario is an exclusive three-piece luggage set, tailored to reflect the commissioning client’s lifestyle. This set, comprising a briefcase, a weekend holdall, and a suit bag, is crafted in black leather with Iconica Blu edging and off-white Alcantara quilting, epitomizing the luxury lifestyle that Automobili Pininfarina clients often embody. The Reversario, alongside the Anniversario, is described as a pair of “twins” that perfectly complement each other, reflecting a unified design philosophy that links them indelibly.
Dave Amantea, Chief Design Officer at Automobili Pininfarina, added: “Reversario was the ultimate commission. Taking inspiration from the original Anniversario, it is a reflection in every aspect, using a timeless combination of colours to create an opposite that works alone and together. This is a vehicle that is the greatest expression of our ‘Dream Cars. Made Real.’ philosophy, to date.”
The Battista Reversario is built with a cutting-edge 120 kWh lithium-ion battery housed within a lightweight carbon fibre structure, powering four independent high-performance electric motors—one for each wheel. This setup includes Full Torque Vectoring, Electronic Stability Control, and a software differential that enhances power delivery and handling, allowing for unprecedented performance customization. The T-shaped battery pack is strategically placed behind the seats to ensure a low centre of gravity, optimizing handling and performance.
The vehicle’s remarkable power enables performance that rivals Formula One cars, with acceleration from 0-60 mph in 1.79 seconds and 0-200 km/h in just 4.75 seconds. The Battista combines this hypercar performance with the range and comfort of a grand tourer, featuring all-wheel drive and five selectable driving modes: Calma, Pura, Energica, Furiosa, and Carattere, each tailored to different driving preferences and conditions.
