The concept is inspired by the mountain ranges of the Himalayas, where one’s wisdom and pushing the limit prevails. Le K2 Palace originates from a challenge to accomplish a dream. The hotel is made up of 26 rooms and 4 suites. There are also 6 exceptional Suite-Chalets, built in a semi-circle around the main building. They are all linked to the hotel and have their own personnel.

This ‘village palace’ has been developed and built as a prestigious hamlet and runs alongside the Cospillot slope. It offers you an exceptional panorama and direct access to the largest ski area in the world: 600 km of linked slopes. For the perfect ending to the day, sit back and relax in the hotel’s bar with live performances.

The 26 cosy rooms and 4 suites have been meticulously designed each with an individual ambiance, for moments of complete intimacy. Every detail has been considered for maximum comfort, including luxury bedding. The rooms and suites offer a view of the surrounding mountains, the valley or the forest close by. Authentic alpine woodwork co-exists harmoniously with assorted bronze colours and materials.

The design echoes the distant Himalayas with shimmering hues and sumptuous fabrics inspired by the beauty of natural materials. The pinnacle of luxury is the spacious K3 suite. The service includes a personal butler who will serve breakfast directly to K3 suite each morning – a truly magical moment in the mountains.

The Suite-chalets

By choosing to stay in one of the six Le K2 Palace Suite-Chalets you choose the best of both worlds – your own private chalet and the convenience of a 6-star hotel. These two worlds are linked by a private passage.

Take advantage of having your own personnel, a swimming pool, hammam or hot tub and even your own cinema. You also have the benefit of all the common areas the hotel has to offer. The hotel bar is a welcome and cosy environment for a festive drink of live performance. It is precisely this idea of providing different living areas that makes le K2 Palace unique.

Le Kintessence

When one thinks of creating a dream, one inevitably thinks of a mesmerising restaurant. Since the opening in 2011, Le K2 Collections gastronomic team has worked with precision and generosity to provide a restaurant within Le K2 Palace which reaches for the stars.

The team did not have to wait long for their hard work. At the outset, the gastronomic restaurant, Le Kintessence, obtained a multitude of awards and today, Jean-Rémi Caillon, the talented Chef of Le K2 Palace, is at work at the Kintessence, always refining the culinary experience in the alpine skies above Courchevel.

Le Black Pyramid

When one thinks of family, an essential trademark of Le K2 Palace, one also thinks of a family meal. Black Pyramid, the hotel’s second restaurant offers refined cuisine which focuses on the taste of carefully selected ingredients and a simple way of cooking.

It is a wonderful way of educating young children’s palates to authentic tastes and delighting the not so young with those of days gone by. The wine cellar is another epicurean and visual high point in the Black Pyramid experience.

Le Sarkara

Sarkara is one of the world’s first gastronomic dessert restaurants. The concept revisits the original idea dreamt up by pastry chef Sébastien Vauxion and Jean-Alain Baccon, co-Managing Director of K2 Collections in charge of restaurants, which came to life in December 2017.

In most restaurants, dessert is an add-on to lunch or dinner. Here, your dessert is created in the moment, becoming a starter, a main course, a menu. Sébastien has created a meal entirely fashioned from his inspirations as a pâtissier chef.

His world is all about bringing together the finest local produce, such as elderberries grown at altitude in Courchevel, grand cru chocolate from Cuba, Tahaa vanilla… Le Sarkara opens at lunchtime and in the afternoon, from Wednesday to Sunday, offering a whole new experience – the discovery of a world dedicated to the gourmet and avant-garde.

Wellness at Le K2 Palace

Welcome to Goji Spa by Valmont, the place where gravity no longer has a hold on one’s body. Here, even the notion of time disappears during a moment of well-being. This is an intimate cocoon, where you are transported into a sensory universe created just for you.

It is named after the famous berry grown on the slopes of the Himalayas, known for its antioxidant properties and locally called ‘the fruit of the smile’. Research has shown that Valmont products are recognised for their anti-ageing properties and with Goji Spa by Valmont, beauty and wellness now have a name.

The indoor swimming pool looks out onto an exceptional panorama of the valley below. A waterfall, sauna, hammam, hot and cold baths and an outdoor hot tub comprise this remarkable wellness centre.

Another pinnacle of this wellness area, is a welcoming and intimate hairdressing salon that places your well-being and hair at the centre of your experience. The salon is equipped with two massage chairs, one of which integrates a chromotherapy system. A demineralised water fountain allows your hair to retain its silky touch. Here, art and hairstyling go hand in hand.
