Cervélo has teamed up with Automobili Lamborghini on an ultra-limited edition R5, the high-performance road bike featuring the paint scheme from the Aventador SVJ’s famed Nürburgring lap record. The Aventador SVJ’s record-breaking 6:44.97 trip around the Nürburgring created a new benchmark for road car performance, and cemented it at the top of its class. Cervélo pays homage to this feat with its lauded R5 model.
The R5, designed to tackle the steepest climbs and descents of the Italian Dolomites, is a kindred spirit to the Aventador SVJfast by any measure, but set apart by its handling and poise.
The Cervélo limited edition R5 will celebrate Automobili Lamborghini’s founding year with the production of 63 bikes, highlighting the special combination and the excellence of the two brands. The R5 limited edition road bike will be completed thanks to a build kit featuring Campagnolo’s Super Record EPS gruppo, Campagnolo Bora One wheels, Deda Elementi Stem, Vittoria Corsa Pro tires, and a Fizik Aliante saddle.
