The Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs) is an annual American music award that is presented by Telemundo. It is the Spanish-language counterpart of the American Music Awards (AMAs) produced by the Dick Clark Productions. As with AMAs, the Latin AMAs are determined by a poll of the public and music buyers.
Telemundo is the largest provider of Spanish-language content in the USA, with programming syndicated worldwide to more than 100 countries in over 35 languages. The first Latin AMAs debuted on October 8, 2015 and was hosted by Lucero.
Telemundo is part of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, a division of NBCUniversal, one of the leading companies in the world of media and entertainment.
