This new creation reflects the brand’s ongoing endeavour to refine simplicity through advanced craftsmanship. The DBD series, first introduced in 2006, made a lasting impression in horological circles with its triple linear calendar and digital time display. This latest model, the DBD Evergreen, is available in either rose gold or white gold, continuing the legacy of its thirty-nine predecessors.
The DBD Evergreen stands out with its polished grade 5 titanium case, combining lightweight comfort with a modern, futuristic aesthetic. The design features an elegantly positioned crown at 12 o’clock and ogive-shaped lugs. Its green dial, adorned with Côtes de Genève, creates a dynamic interplay of light, enhancing the visual appeal on the wearer’s wrist.
De Bethune’s reverence for 18th-century horology is evident in the DBD Evergreen. Founder Denis Flageollet’s passion for this era’s ingenious mechanisms is intricately woven into the watch’s design. The DBD showcases a unique linear display of the day, date, and month at twelve o’clock, alongside jumping hours and scrolling minutes at the dial’s lower half. Equipped with the latest De Bethune advancements, the DBD Evergreen features a double anti-reflective treatment on the sapphire crystal, revealing the intricate workings of the mechanical caliber DB2044. This manually wound movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It incorporates the latest titanium balance wheel with gray gold inserts and a triple parachute system, showcasing De Bethune’s commitment to combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technology.
The DBD Evergreen is an exclusive offering, limited to just 20 pieces. Each piece is numbered and engraved, ensuring its uniqueness.
