In the span of ten years, H. Moser & Cie. has significantly grown its business, accompanied by the establishment of several dedicated retail locations, especially in Hong Kong and Shanghai. These retail spaces are designed with a defined concept that reflects the brand’s philosophy by incorporating a minimalist approach that merges tradition with innovation and has an artfully provocative and playful ambience. To celebrate this significant milestone, H. Moser & Cie. has unveiled a special Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic in red gold that will only be available for purchase at its dedicated retail spaces and on its online platform.
This symbolic timepiece features the brand’s Streamliner chronograph in red gold with a rubber strap, a combination that has not been used since the collection’s introduction in 2020. This rubber strap is seamlessly integrated into the watch case, giving the timepiece a new look that combines the warm hue of the 5N red gold with the intricate shades of the Matrix Green dial. The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Boutique Edition exudes a bold sportiness coupled with timeless elegance. A transparent lacquer logo is subtly integrated, serving as a discreet reminder of the brand’s excellence.
H. Moser & Cie. believes in letting the product take the spotlight, and as such, the brand maintains a low profile. With a minimalist philosophy, H. Moser & Cie. epitomizes sophisticated elegance and subtlety. The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Boutique Edition continues to maintain its original aesthetic features and functions. It remains water-resistant up to 12 ATM and its chronograph function can be utilized both on land and underwater. The watch is encased in 5N red gold and is designed with graceful proportions and sleek aerodynamics.
It features a slightly domed Glassbox-type sapphire crystal and a transparent case-back. The Matrix Green dial is encompassed by a red and white outer track for seconds and an inner track for minutes. A three-dimensional “60” at the 12 o’clock position recalls the stopwatches of the 1960s and 1970s, emphasizing legibility and functionality.
The watch’s hands are extremely slender, designed for precision in measuring elapsed time. These hands have a broader base and a narrow tip, similar to counters in vehicles or measuring instruments. For enhanced legibility, a red seconds hand is used. The hours and minutes are indicated by three-dimensional gilded curved hands, composed of two sections with inserts made from Globolight, a cutting-edge ceramic-based material infused with Super-LumiNova.
In terms of movement, this automatic chronograph has a central display with a flyback function for minutes and seconds. It is powered by one of the most acclaimed chronograph calibers, which has been designed with an emphasis on minimalism and readability. This caliber was developed by AGENHOR, a company specializing in the design of intricate watch movements and a partner of H. Moser & Cie.
The state-of-the-art calibre HMC 907, visible through the sapphire case-back, features a 72-hour power reserve and a contemporary finish, adorned with Moser stripes at a 45-degree angle and anthracite grey rhodium plating on the bridges and main plate. The oscillating weight is ingeniously positioned between the movement and the dial, allowing an unobstructed view of the chronograph’s column wheel in action.
