Le Bal de la Rose
The Rose Ball was created by Princess Grace of Monaco in 1954. It is organised every year in March in the prestigious Salle des Etoiles of the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
Currently presided by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince Albert II and H.R.H. Princess Caroline of Hanover, the Rose Ball is a symbol of glamour that maintains the fascinating Monte-Carlo legend that it has helped create. A glittering spectacle, the Rose Ball has a different theme each year with new trends and international acts. This remarkable event brings together the elite and international high society for the first important social event of the year in Monte-Carlo.
The Ball is not a mere high-society event, aimed only at the pleasures of celebration. Above all, it constitutes a charitable event for international outreach, and part of the proceeds support the Princess Grace Foundation since 1964.
