Xippas Galleries
Founded by Renos Xippas in 1990 in Paris, Xippas has been expanding ever since in major European and Latin American cities. Focused on international contemporary art, the gallery has been developed as a platform for discovery and promotion of both young and established artists. Situated in the heart of the Marais district in Paris, Xippas gallery was inaugurated in 1990 with a major exhibition dedicated to Takis’ sculptures, in the building it still occupies: 108 rue Vieille du Temple.
In Geneva, Xippas gallery is situated in the heart of the Quartier les Bains, the contemporary art district that has been developed around the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Mamco).
In Punta del Este, the gallery is located on the panoramic Route 104 (Km 5), aslo known as the “Art Route”, which connects Manantiales to Punta del Este, South America’s main seaside resort. With an infrastructure covering 700 square meters amidst a rural Uruguayan landscape, this unique gallery is destined to present exhibitions by major artists from local and international contemporary art scene.
