Danysz Gallery

Danysz is first and foremost a platform to promote and support contemporary artists and an open field for artists, art lovers and collectors to congregate. Founded in Paris in 1991 by Magda Danysz, the gallery has been gathering steam since its Parisian debuts, setting foot in Shanghai, then London, to become a fully geared-up international player.

A thriving trajectory with many achievements to date: collaborations with scores of talented artists, participations in important art fairs, joint projects with world-renowned institutions such as Power Station of Art-Shanghai, CAFA museum-Beijing, the Musée National des Arts Asiatiques Guimet-Paris, or the Musée National d’Art Moderne et Contemporain-Strasbourg.

The gallery fiercely advocates for an inclusive vision of contemporary art, in which artists across a wide range of practices can coexist. Its long-time support to artists hailing from urban art and its commitment to strong artistic personalities in photography, sculpture, new media, open up a rich and far-reaching vista into contemporary creation.
