2. Carlowrie Castle, Edinburgh

Access flying into Edinburgh Airport

Spend the night in one of the luxury bedrooms and wake up in your very own Victorian castle with modern comforts.  Built in 1852 by David Rhind, a celebrated Scottish architect, the Hutchison Family and descendents lived at Carlowrie Castle for the next 130 years.

The Marshalls acquired the castle in 1982. For the next quarter century Carlowrie was a family home once again, bursting with children and laughter. Son, Andrew Marshall bought the Castle from his parents in 2012 and instigated a £4 million 2-year refurbishment which, less than a year after opening in 2015, resulted in Carlowrie being recognised as one of the top 3 venues in Europe.

Within easy access into Edinburgh city centre by your very own chauffeur this is the perfect property to enjoy with friends and family whilst on vacation to Scotland’s capital city.

The Castle and its 32 acres of grounds provide you with the space and tranquillity to relax and escape the city with perhaps a game of tennis on our private tennis court, walk around the Walled Garden or enjoy a cycle round the Estate.
