Jaguar Land Rover’s Ice Academy in Arjeplog, Sweden, invites drivers of all ages and skill to get behind the wheels of the latest Jaguar and Land Rover models. Under the instruction of world-class trainers, drivers will turn up the octane to take on the ice in a white knuckle adventure that they will never forget. Guests are invited to put some of the world’s most capable vehicles through their paces, such as the Jaguar F-Type, the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Velar.
After an exhilarating day of power drifting across the frozen lake at breathtaking speed, guests will adjourn to the luxurious Hotel Silverhatten. Not just sumptuous – this hotel is famous for its views. Situated high on a hillside, guests will be stunned by the vista from Hotel Silverhatten – mountains and forests stretch as far as the eye can see on a stark white wilderness. Returning guests say the best way to experience the view is with a drink by a roaring fire alongside their fellow drivers and instructors.

Day one – Guests arrive in Arvidsjaur, where they are taken to Hotel Silverhatten to enjoy all-inclusive meals, drinks and the many luxurious amenities on offer.
Day two – After breakfast and a briefing, drivers head out on the frozen lakes to test their wits against the terrain. This is where the fun starts and where expert instructors – the finest in the industry – will teach guests to drive at a constant skid angle, taking on ever-more challenging twists and turns through the ice. Following the day’s excursions, it’s back to the hotel for warming beverages by the fire.
Day three – A quick briefing is followed by another day on the ice. This time, the bar is set higher and drivers will be ready to turn it up a gear, ploughing through the frozen lakes of Arjeplog.
Day four – One final day on the ice, where enthusiasts will be encouraged to put everything they’ve learned into practice – pushing themselves beyond their limits under the guidance of Jaguar Land Rover’s world-class training team.
For those who can’t bear to tear themselves away from Jaguar Land Rover’s magical land in the ice – they can spend a few more days taking on an altogether different thrill – gripping the reins of a sled led by huskies. Guests can also opt to take the controls of a snowmobile, navigating narrow tracks through pines and the dips and climbs of stunning Arjeplog.
