The Top Spring/Summer Haute Couture Trends Of 2018

As the warmer weather is fast approaching designer houses have been able to showcase their collections on the runway. The variations of colours, textures and styles have resulted in the speculations towards the designs for the next season.

Gelateria:

Forget the standard monotone colours – pastels are being labelled as delightful gelato shades, with Victoria Beckham model in head-to-toe lilac. The tailored style shown by Beckham has highlighted a spring trend also being released in many other designer houses such as Burberry, Balmain and Ralph Lauren.

Primary Colour Pallet:

Following on from the use of pastel colours, the spectrum of colours which are worn on a more frequent basis has expanded dramatically over the last few seasons. Block colour has been seen in brands such as Chanel who incorporated this with the use of contrasting patterns (as seen in the dress below.)

Trench Style:

Trench coats became a timeless wardrobe essential through the marketing strategies of Burberry, the most common trend with the Spring/Summer season is the influx of colour and embellishment detail.
