Noda
An intimate eight-seat omakase experience helmed by Shigeyuki Tsunoda
After being trained by Tokyo’s Saito team and serving high-end food in Japan, Chef Tsunoda and his family were moved to NYC to create this namesake restaurant by owners Justin Hauser and David Hess. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in the depths of a building in Tokyo due to the elusive secretive location of the restaurant.
Noda is curated to be an experience from beginning to end, but the focus remains on Tsunoda-san's skills and an excellent selection of ingredients.
The space is more warmly decorated than a traditional high-end Edomae sushi restaurant, however it retains the same tranquility due to the intimate design as well as a minimalist approach the keeps the focus on the culinary experience.
