Scott's Mayfair
London's finest fish, shell fish and seasonal game situated in Mount street
One of London’s five oldest restaurants, Scott’s has been serving superior fish and seafood dinners to the great and the good since John Scott first set up his oyster warehouse in 1851, extending the promise of an exceptional meal in glamorous company to the most discerning of diners.
It was here that Ian Fleming first overheard the request for a martini that was shaken not stirred—and it was here that his quintessentially British, martini-drinking creation, James Bond, preferred to dine.
The menu reflects its glittering heritage, serving the finest traditional fish and shellfish dishes alongside a variety of meat and seasonal game favourites in an atmosphere of urbane sophistication. Oysters, served at the elegant oyster and Champagne bar, are a house speciality.
