Le Gavroche
Other restaurants have signature dishes; Le Gavroche has a signature menu, a roll call of legendary creations
Known as “the last bastion in London of classically rich French haute cuisine” Le Gavroche has become a London institution, internationally recognised for its culinary excellence and unparalleled attention to detail.
The chef de cuisine is Michel Roux Jr, who took over the reins from his father, Albert in 1991. Since opening in 1967, this Mayfair bastion of French cuisine has been very much a family affair, and chef-patron Michel Roux Jr continues the tradition today.
Le Gavroche maintains the very highest of standards. The restaurant can feed sixty people at once, with the largest table seating 10 people, and there is a sense of unremitting concentration and effortless attention to the needs of the clients, who are immediately made to feel at home by Emmanuel and his team.
