Aman to debut luxury residences in Miami Beach’s vibrant Faena District

The AMAN Miami Beach is a joint venture between the Miami-based OKO Group, the real estate firm developing the luxury condo towers Missoni Baia in Edgewater and Una Residences in Brickell, and Access Industries, a private investment firm with $20 billion in holdings spread over six million square feet around the world, including the Faena Hotel Miami Beach. A catalyst for culture and connection, Miami Beach’s vibrant Faena District will soon be home to Aman’s fourth destination in North America.
The two-building Aman Miami Beach project, which will include an Aman hotel and Aman-branded residences, will be built on the former site of the Versailles Hotel at 3425 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach. Aman Miami Beach’s hotel will be the product of a meticulous restoration by John Michel Gathy of Denniston, re-establishing the site as a visual landmark while embracing Aman’s ethos of uncomplicated serenity.
The project will be the final piece of the Faena District, a cultural hub stretching along both sides of Collins Avenue from 32nd to 36th streets that was launched in 2015 by Argentine developer Alan Faena. The district is home to the Faena Hotel Miami Beach, the art and event venue Faena Forum, the prestigious Faena House condo tower, and numerous restaurants and bars.
Wraparound terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows will frame Atlantic Ocean views from Aman Miami Beach’s 56-guest suites, where the Aman way of life is to be fully realised in urban form. Where the tropical island environment, juxtaposed with the buzz of the hotel’s revolutionary neighborhood, will create a truly unique guest experience.
For a select few, Aman Miami Beach will also become home, with a new standalone residence-only building resting alongside the hotel as a new addition to the landscape, designed by Kengo Kuma and offering no more than 22 branded residences.
As part of this new community, guests and residence owners alike will enjoy direct beach access, the services of a comprehensive Aman Spa and nightly dining and entertainment in several new venues. The hotel will also house an exclusive Aman Club, providing members with the opportunity to reconnect in this culturally stimulating setting.
Aman Miami Beach will be the fourth U.S. location for the Aman Resorts International group, which is headquartered in Switzerland and operates hotels and villas throughout Asia, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Aman Miami Beach is scheduled to open in 2024.
