130 William, New York private residences are designed not only to be seen, but to be felt

An energized view of Manhattan living by visionary architect, Sir David Adjaye who pushes against the conventions of tall glass towers with curves and arches inspired by local precedent. Share

Lower Manhattan has always been the birthplace of ambitious beginnings. This vibrant neighborhood is grounded by four centuries of history, all imbued with the enduring aspiration of its occupants to seek out something new. As the area shifts and changes, it continues to be defined and shaped by the people within its bounds. These personalities bring the neighborhood to life, giving it color and form, all the while collectively pushing it forward.

At 66 stories and nearly 800 feet tall, Adjaye’s first New York City high-rise tower is an important contribution to the New York City skyline. 130 William’s hand-cast concrete facade creates a striking form against the cityscape of Lower Manhattan.

Elevated above the city streets, each residence is a haven offering respite from the activity of the city. Sir David Adjaye considers natural light a design element, crafting airy interiors framed by oversized arched windows. Wide plank white oak flooring underfoot enhances warmth throughout, while custom Adjaye-designed bronze fixtures add a sense of detailed refinement.
