Paris Saint-Germain and Swiss master-watchmakers Purnell have signed a brand-new three-year partnership. Purnell has become the club’s official timekeeper and, from March 2023, Purnell and Paris Saint-Germain will offer the club’s supporters and watch lovers around the world with regular releases of exclusive, limited-edition watches.
The two brands’ collaboration is characterised by their forward-thinking DNA that focuses on excellence. Purnell’s unique positioning as the flag-bearer for “high watchmaking”—combining substance, performance, and style for a new generation of collectors—resonates with Paris Saint-Germain’s ambitions as the club for the new generation. The Purnell x PSG Escape Limited Edition watch stands out from ordinary timepieces that merely feature a logo or club colors. Purnell went back to the drawing board and created a unique watch design that subtly integrates the iconic Eiffel Tower, Paris Saint-Germain’s logo, and the club’s “Fleur de Lys” motif.
The Spherion’s bridge and outer cage now sport the Eiffel Tower’s shape, while the back bridges boast a “Fleur de Lys” tapisserie motif. The sapphire ring dial, assembled with a polished titanium bridge shaped like the Eiffel Tower, displays a Fleur de Lys at six o’clock. Additionally, the miniature Eiffel Tower logo on the crown is flanked by a single Fleur de Lys.
