Presented from October 11th, 2017 to March 5th, 2018, the exhibition includes works of art ranging from the birth of modern art through trends and styles such as American abstraction, Pop art and Minimalism, to the most contemporary art.

Among the artists on display we find in particular Max Beckmann, Alexander Calder, Paul Cézanne, Marcel Duchamp, Walker Evans, Gustav Klimt, René Magritte, Pablo Picasso, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Paul Signac and many others.

The exhibition features renowned masterpieces as well as less familiar, though highly significant artworks. A selection of rarely shown materials from MoMA’s archives, retracing the history of the museum, will also be displayed in the galleries.
