The Shanghai Rolex Masters is a professional men's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts, and held annually in early October at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in the Minhang District of Shanghai.
The Shanghai Masters is chronologically the eighth out of the nine ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour season, and is the only Masters 1000 tournament not played in Europe or North America.
The stunning trophies were designed and created by world famous Royal Selangor Pewter. The trophy signifies the roof over Qi Zhong Stadium which is known as the Magnolia Roof and is a perpetual trophy with the new champions receiving a replica trophy.
