Open de France
One of the most important initiatives in the European Tour’s history, the Rolex Series elevates eight world class golf tournaments into unmissable sporting occasions. Inaugurated in 1906 it is the oldest national open in Continental Europe and has been part of the European Tour's schedule since the tour's inception in 1972.
The Open is played in 4 rounds of 18 holes. It is a tough and demanding circuit that is remarkable for its hilly terrain dotted with water obstacles and bunkers.
Located next to the central green on the forecourt of the Golf National, the Open village welcomes spectators at the fringes of the competition with boutiques set up by partners Rolex and Lacoste, a restaurant area and a giant screen broadcasting the tournament live.
