LACMA Art+Film Gala
LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States. The museum puts on an annual gala dinner, inaugurated in 2011 featuring entertainment by international artists.
LACMA’s spirit of experimentation is reflected in its work with artists, technologists, and thought leaders as well as in its regional, national, and global partnerships to share collections and programs, create pioneering initiatives, and engage new audiences.
Proceeds from the annual event, go toward underwriting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission. This includes exhibitions, acquisitions and educational programming, in addition to screenings that explore the intersection of art and film.
