Great Sports Legends Dinner
The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, the fundraising arm of The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, honours distinguished Hall of Famers, Olympic gold medalists, world champions, and philanthropists at the Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner which usually takes place in autumn.
The founders envisioned that to find a cure for paralysis, we needed to gather a committed group of scientists from various clinical and scientific disciplines in one center.
Since its inception in 1986, the Great Sports Legends Dinner has honored more than 370 sports legends and humanitarians and has raised a considerable amount of funds for The Miami Project’s spinal cord injury research programs. The Miami Project and Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis is committed to finding a cure for paralysis resulting from spinal cord injury and to seeing millions worldwide walk again.
