Göteborgs Kulturkalas

With up to 1.7 million visits, Göteborgs Kulturkalas is one of the Nordic region's largest cultural festivals. Göteborgs Kulturkalas is produced by Göteborg & Co, which is part of the City of Gothenburg. The festival is also funded together with Kulturkalaset's partners and the program is presented together with the cultural life in Gothenburg and Västra Götaland County.

Visitors can enjoy a rich selection of culture free of charge: opera, art, music, improv theater, handicrafts, theater, literature, film, sports and much more. The cultural party wants to inspire all visitors to discover something new and continue to experience the city's cultural offer all year round.

For several years, Kulturkalaset has been an environmentally certified event that is controlled by the City of Gothenburg's environmental administration according to the Swedish Environmental Base Standard. It is also a crane-marked event that meets the criteria for Fairtrade City Gothenburg.
