Domaine Armand Rousseau
Domaine Armand Rousseau is a French wine grower and producer. It is based in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the Côte de Nuits wine-growing region of Burgundy, France.
Over the years, the Domaine has grown and now works an area of 15 hectares 33, including 3 hectares of Appellation Village, 3 hectares 77 of Appellation Premier Cru and 8 hectares 51 of Appellation Grand Cru, located on the territories of Gevrey-Chambertin and Morey-Saint-Denis.
Eric Rousseau is the current winemaker, with involvement on the commercial side from his daughters Corinne and Brigitte. While the simple Guyot pruning is practiced on the whole vineyard located on hillsides and exposed East or South-East on clay-limestone soils; the method of growing vines remains traditional, with yields of 30 to 40 hectoliters per hectare. Domaine Rousseau owns sections of and makes wines from many renowned Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards.
