Penny finds inspiration for some of her collections in vintage jewelry. Stars and moons, flowers, feathers, and garlands are among the motifs that highlight necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings. The flip side to the poetic pieces are designs with clean geometric lines and polished surfaces, all of which define a more modern focus.

While the designer adds splashes of colorful gems and pearls to her exquisitely made jewelry, diamonds, in all shapes and sizes, are the main component in the collections. "Diamonds are the fairytale stone," says Penny. The beauty of the designs blended with fine craftsmanship and Penny's eye for details, results in heirloom quality jewels that women will put on and never want to take off.

One of the first bold faced names to buy one of Penny's jewels was Jackie Kennedy. Any number of celebrities have followed in the former First Lady's footsteps. Some who have worn Penny's jewelry on the red carpet include Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Holmes, Sandra Bullock and Oprah Winfrey.
