H.Stern

The company was founded in 1945 and is headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where it controls the handmade production of all its jewelry. H.Stern initially specialized in precious stones before moving to design focused jewelry. The first H.Stern store opened on the Rio de Janeiro docks in 1949, the point of arrival for international passengers on cruise ships.

H.Stern draws on the arts to create its surprising jewelry collections – expressing music, dance, fashion, and architecture with gold and precious stones. This connection was showcased at the 2015 Gold Exhibit in Rio de Janeiro which also featured renowned Brazilian artists such as Tunga, Antonio Dias and Cildo Meirelles.

Eva Longoria, Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett, Sharon Stone and Catherine Zeta-Jones have all worn H.Stern's designs.
