David Candaux

David Candaux was born and raised in the Vallée de Joux. An area recognized for centuries as the supplier of sublime time pieces, in a world of traditional high-end Swiss watchmaking.

As both son and grandson of master watchmakers, he grew up fully immersed in an atmosphere of craftsmanship devoted to timekeeping. Being influenced at the young age of 14, he was much shaped by the nearby lake and forests, as by the workbenches.

More than 20 years later, after a brilliant career with several widely renowned watchmakers, whom allowed him to combine his ability and knowhow, he has chosen to promote his personal vision of 21st century Haute Horlogerie, with the release of a series of exceptional timepieces.

Each of David’s masterpieces require years of research and development. His goal is to master high-caliber watchmaking of complications in radical new ways by revolutionary new patents
